







“Side by Side for the Black Sea” was among the five finalists for 2011’s Best Environmental Project award within Volunteer Gala in Romania. This was a nominee at national level along the major projects undertaken last year in different fields of activity.
The SBS project was represented at the Volunteer’s Gala by the complete project team: Diana Ioana Calin (Project Manager), Liliana Coman (Assistant Manager), Natalia Ciobanu (Trainer) and Alice Farcas (Facilitator). The ceremony took place at Howard Johnson Hotel in Bucharest on 11th December 2011 and marked the end of events organized in Romania under the European Year of Volunteering 2011 (AEV), and International Volunteer Day, celebrated every year on 5th of December.
