The 15th meeting of the Board of Directors and General Assembly of the International Fund for the cooperation and partnership of the Black sea and Caspian sea is scheduled to take place in Bucharest, the headquarters of the BSCSIF, on June 16-18, 2016 where (June 16- arrival, June 17- meeting, June 18-departure of participants).
At the meeting, in a traditionally friendly atmosphere characteristic to our organization, current and strategic objectives related to the development of BSCSIF will be discussed.
1) The initiative “the Economic zone of the Silk Road”.
2) Development of index of the International Fund.
3) Multiculturalism in the context of the modern globalizing world.
4) Non-aligned countries: security challenges and how to overcome them.
5) “Azerbaijan: Alternative Energy Solutions”: the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline – Connecting Caspian and Adriatic Seas.
Statement of the International Fund for Cooperation and Partnership of the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea on stabilization of relations between Russia and Turkey
The International Fund for Cooperation and Partnership of the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea (BSCSIF), established in 2009 with the aim of contribution to the dialogue, understanding and peace in the regions of the Black and Caspian Seas and uniting currently representatives of intelligentsia, famous academicians and public figures from 33 countries, including from Russia and Turkey, expresses its concern with regard to the possible implications of deterioration of relations between Russia and Turkey due to the incident with Russian bomber aircraft SU-24.
Statement of the International Fund for Cooperation and Partnership of the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea regarding the terrorist acts in Paris and сrash of the Russian airplane
The International Fund for Cooperation and Partnership of the Black and Caspian Seas (hereinafter International Fund) firmly condemns bloody terrorist acts that were committed in Paris on November 13, 2015, and a large terrorist attack, as a result of which the plane A321 of the Russian airline “Kogalymavia” crashed on October 31, in Egypt. The International Fund expresses its condolences to the bereaved families, Government and people of France and Russia.
The Balkan branch of BSCSIF finalized the first research project on the topic “The issue of strengthening bridges of trust among the youth of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia as a condition for regional stability”
At present young people play an essential role in the approximation, reconciliation and strengthening of ties between the peoples of the region. The aim of the study is to examine the views and opinions of young people on the topic of post-conflict reconciliation and tolerance among the peoples of the above-mentioned Balkan countries, to facilitate lasting peace and sustainable development in the region and enhance the role of mutual trust in the Balkan societies under the current circumstances.
